India Design ID, unwrapping 10 editions of excellence in design through the archives of 1321DesignZ

We can call it a three-day action-packed event or only the most celebrated week in the design community, every design enthusiast would still guess that we are talking about India Design ID!

As the 10th edition of the exhibition rolls in this year, 1321DesignZ has taken it upon itself to show you all the glory we’ve seen through the years.

Here are our ten favorite moments from our archives.

1) Fabulous debut by Essentia Environments in 2021

ID Collective 2021, a completely virtual showcase, witnessed the debut of Essentia Environments brand film.

Mesmerizing spaces created by the globally operating design studio were the highlight for us last year.

While we all could not connect as a community physically, the India Design Exhibition still virtually managed to leave us floored with exhibitors like Seetu Kohli, Curoq, Anca, Kohler, and many more.

2) A splendid collection by Scarlet Splendour in 2020

The spotlight collection blended and still stood out at the Design ID India exhibition in 2020.

“The whimsical cabinet from Scarlet Splendour’s Animagic collection evoked a sense of fascination and surprise while delighting the onlookers with its quirky structure.”

3) Time stopping totems by Klove in 2019

Klove is a known marvel in luxury lighting, that is larger than life. Their Totems Over Time Collection from 2019 took everyone by surprise at India Design ID 2019

These scared and elegant structures are handcrafted in metal and glass while declaring themselves as a celebration of geometry and symmetry.

4) Bespoke Luxury haven by Diviana in 2018

Expression, passion, and Beauty are everything that describes luxury experiences created by Diviana

We witnessed luxe and classic at its best with Diviana as one of the India Design ID 2018 exhibitors.

5) A modular statement by Flos in 2018

Flos unveiled its jewelry-inspired collection at India Design and it quickly became our favorite that year.

Modern and minimal, the collection is also modular and designed by Michael Anastassiades in collaboration with the Italian lighting brand.

6) Luxury Lighting redefined by Sans Souci Lighting in 2018

We could not keep our eyes away after a glimpse of beautiful lighting installations created by the Dubai-based brand, Sans Souci Lighting

Their setup at India Design welcomed us with a sense of redefined luxury resonating from the delicate fixtures.

7) Uniquely stunning Furniture by Alsorg in 2017

2017 India Design showcase introduced us to many furniture brands, one being Alsorg

The creatively designed pieces had us wanting to reach out time and again. The rotating bookcase was definitely our favorite!

8) A web of all things incredible by K2 India in 2017

We were wishing to be trapped in the remarkable spaces created by K2 India after witnessing their exhibit in 2017.

The craftsmanship of pieces and the authentic design style held our gaze, as we are also looking forward to more this year!

9) Fusion Luxury by Beyond Designs in 2016

Beyond Designs has been a part of the India Design exhibition since its early editions.

Every year we see luxury curated in one beautiful exhibit, that speaks more on design than anything else could.

Their 2016 collection was all about vintage charm and fusion of luxury through materials.

10) Admirable craftsmanship by Apartment 9 in 2015

The third edition of India Design ID in 2015 was still the best design event around, with luxury patrons like Apartment 9 bringing their best to the show!

While it was very nostalgic going through the best that interior design has seen in the past years through India Design, we look forward to what it has in store in 2022.
